We offer the following training courses to support our aviation clients in their assessment and selection processes.

Symbiotics Ltd

Report Interpretation Training

This enables you to become and ADAPT Certified User and to use our assessment without the supervision of our Psychology team.

This is a short course in the basics of interviewing for staff involved in the hiring process providing a good grounding in all the basics and best practice.

Report Interpretation Training

Several of the Symbiotics tests are restricted to Certified Users, due to their psychological basis. Successful completion of our Report Interpretation Training course certifies you to be able to interpret our ADAPT reports. You will also be entered onto our register of Certified Users.

Training outcomes:

  • Understand the APQ and other psychological based tests.
  • Make confident decisions based on the reports.
  • Join our Certified User Register
  • Provide detailed feedback to our candidates on their test results

What does the training include?

  • 8 e-learning training modules which includes 6-8 hours' worth of content covering:
    • Overview of Symbiotics and ADAPT Assessment
    • Cultural and Organisational Profile
    • The Silhouette
    • Personality
    • Other Scales in the Personality Questionnaire
    • FAST and other Pychomotor and Operational Skills
    • The Knowledge and Aptitude Tests
    • The Other Style Questionnaires
  • 1:1 Competency check with a Psychologist and an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
  • ADAPT Training Handbook
  • A certificate on successful completion of training.

Re-Certification

If you are actively involved in psychological profiling of pilots to comply with EASA CAT.GEN.MPA.175 (b), then you must undergo an annual revalidation of your certificate through a 1:1 session with a psychologist.
