Maths Progressive

The Maths Progressive Test assesses the candidates' ability to apply mathematical knowledge, formulae and calculations.

The test comprises of 20 randomly selected questions and increases in difficulty through 3 levels - Foundation (worth 1 mark each), Intermediate (2 marks) and Advanced (5 marks). It is aligned to an 18+ level.

Calculations include Speed, Distance, Time, Fuel Consumption and Bearings.

The test takes 30 minutes to complete and automatically finishes after this time regardless of whether the candidate has answered all the questions.

People who perform well on this test tend to be comfortable working with data.

Is an Invigilator Required?

This test should not be confused with a Numerical Reasoning test, which looks at an underlying cognitive capability to work with numbers.

This Maths test is aligned to the capability required for examination in Mathematics at age 18+. It is designed for roles where pure mathematical capability is required, such as in aviation or navigation.
